2007 Sorrel AQHA Gelding
15.1 HH This gelding I bought as a resell some years back and I had big dollars in my head for the finished product, when I did presale xrays I saw he had a healed fracture in his navicular bone from his young colt years. I didn't put him up for sale, instead I put the kids on him. He has been Abilene's horse for a few years now and she has moved to an unfinished horse (actually mule) to make a resell project for herself. Sam is `100% Mr. Dependable. Just about everyone that has ever ridden with us has ridden Sam, he knows the trails of almost every campground in the midwest better than I do. Sam is fancy arena broke and knows a basic reining pattern. He camps, goes to playdays, rides bareback, rides down the road, gets pulled out for Christmas break, anytime there are kids or adults over to mess with horses- Sam is out with them. He gets baths where 4 little girls are soaping him up, he gets ridden bareback through the campground, he gets raced along the river. This horse will load in the trailer and go to the trail ride with anyone- no matter how not confident you are. I do put shoes on everything here because we ride so much in the busy season and in the summer hard riding months when I put shoes on him, he gets pads on the front. Last summer I had 3 girls using him almost everyday for lessons, trails and gymkhanas as well as the boyscout camp rented him for a month when they were short good horses. He is what I would call serviceably sound, he is sound to ride, I have the xrays and his history- he will not have a clean PPE. I will sell him full disclosure and even offer a buyback on him.
